I am a happily married stay-at-home mom of two boys with some thoughts to share about life. "Holding the distaff" refers to Proverbs 31:19. A distaff is a spinning tool that holds unspun fibers. To me, it is a symbol that represents my life's work as a wife and mother. Like many of us, I'm just trying to make sense out of all of life's "unspun" messes.
